#83: I dare to be inspired...

For the first time in almost a year I actually felt inspired to scrap/craft. It is so strange how after loosing my father my creativity seemed to just vanish. It felt so wonderful to once again break into my supplies... I have the girls over at http://www.efferdares.com/ to thank, with out them Dare 83 would never have happened. My dare was to find creative inspirations, so here I am ready for 2008 and I am going to enjoy this year, because I DARE to be inspired,

Fall into reading update...and other stuff...

Well I did not accomplish my goal, but I did read a bunch of new books before the end of 2007...in no particular order the titles I finished are...
The Guy I'm Not Dating by Trish Perry
Between Sundays by Karen Kingsbury
Divine by Karen Kingsbury
Sunrise (Sunrise Series #1) by Karen Kingsbury
Summer (Sunrise Series #2) by Karen Kingsbury
*there were a few other new titles completed but they did nto get listed, because they were not on my original Callapidder Days Fall into Reading 2007.

NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS:
well it is that time of year again, time to make yourself a written promise to attempt the impossible. This new year for me is all about making up for yesterday... my goals before 2008 started were to organize my photo's and my closests... mission accompished.

Now all I have left is my bookshelves, and my scrapbook supplies.

My resolutions for 2008 are as follows.

1.Send regular snail letters and cards to my friends (I even just bought a brand new address book)

2. To scrapbook regularly, at least three layouts per month (hence the desperation to organize my digital photo's)

3. Find and attend a local church on sundays... right now we are planning to check out New Life, and St. Johns... hopefully one of the two will suit us.

4. NOT overdraw my checking account and actually save up $2000 by the end of the year (realizing how much disposable income went to Christmas tells me this is possible)

5. Plan, Budget and Execute a trip to Disneyland

Well there you have it! May 2008 be filled with wonderful moments, and a love of eachother this next year. Happy New Year friends!
