Mailbox Monday: April 27th

Hello Friends, its that day again, Monday.Mailbox Mondays are hosted by The Printed Page. You are probably wondering what showed up in my mailbox this past week, as well as this week since I did not post so that being said: I will list both.

Melody by VC Andrews: I use to love her books back when I was in junior high, they fit perfect inside a Mathbook maybe thats why I have had to take Algebra six times... that being said I thought a little light summer reading might be fun so I ordered this one from Paperback Swap.

Your Pregnancy for the Father to Be:
this one was bought for Max but I will
probably check it out as well.... its crazy how fast
the days are ticking by until we will be parents.
We both have enjoyed the other book in this series,
so I thought this might be optimal to try out as well.

A Passion most Pure: by Julie Lessman
Julie has become by far one of my most favorite authors
this book arrived and I was not able to put it down,
I was finished within three days. I have started writing my
review and should have it up later this week.

A Passion Redeemed: by Julie Lessman
the second novel in the wonderful Boston Daughters series
I am currently reading this one, and it was a challenge to put down
...so thats all I am going to say for now, back to reading.

Weekend Time

Yahoo it is Saturday... and I live in a small town where today is annual Butter and Eggs Day, but this year no parade for me, I'm sick :(

This is probably one the only things that I actually like about my home town, I have lived here my entire life and so by mere circumstance have marched almost every year of my childhood. Some years with Girl Scouts, some with Gymnastics, some with Popwarner Cheer, and then four horrible years with HighSchool Marching Band.
So you won't see me out there, cheering on the kids whose parents make them participate, and so course then I will not get to enjoy the impromptu high school reunion that always transpires in the streets of Petaluma. I am still thinking of you kids....Happy B&E day!

PS: Reader is still tweaking, so now i am starting to suspect the teenager who kept me company while I was home sick, which means that I am now only following the people who follow me... oh and the three blogs I knew by heart.

following no more

not sure what happened yet, but my reader is empty....
i am pretty sure that among the 200plus blogs i enjoy someone posted today...

so that being said, I will do my best to re-follow as many as possible.

These are a few of my favorite things....

I've been awaiting the start of this swap,

I missed out last time but think I made it right under the wire this time.

So excited. Thank You Mamarazzi for including me!

Saturday Plans

Happy Weekend, Yay I survived my first week back at work.
Today will be filled with Zac Efron and Baby Depot.
Not that we are in baby planning mode yet, but we are starting to look at stuff.
I really want to look at these two cribs... Max loves the way this nnursery is painted, and I really want to see the different colored cribs in person... (or at least thats how I bribed him to go with me). After that we are off to see Zac :o) I love date days, because that means I get to pick the movie.

Does anyone have a openion, dark cribs, or white cribs?????
Also we are planning to paint of course depending on boy/girl will determine the color of the stripe.

Mailbox Monday: April 6, 2009

Hello Friends, its that day again, Monday.
Mailbox Mondays are hosted by The Printed Page.
You are probably wondering what showed up in my mailbox this past week, well actually I got just one book.... and without further ado that is:

Salem Falls by Jodi Picoultv (paperbackswap.com)

:Jack St. Bride was once a beloved teacher and soccer coach at a girls' prep school - until a student's crush sparked a powder keg of accusation and robbed him of his career and reputation. Now, after a devastatingly public ordeal that left him with an eight-month jail sentence and no job, Jack resolves to pick up the pieces of his life. He takes a job washing dishes at Addie Peabody's diner and slowly starts to form a relationship with her in the quiet New England village of Salem Falls. But just when Jack thinks he has outrun his past, a quartet of teenage girls with a secret turn his world upside down once again, triggering a modern-day witch hunt in a town haunted by its own history…

Now this particular book is extra special, because this is one of my favorite authors... but wait it gets better, I log into my reader this AM, and see an AWESOME give away for a collection of her books signed, so I now have a new blogger to follow... feel free to check out her blog, and enter!!!
