Yay, I have been officially knitting for an entire week YAHOO!!
So today's lesson was pretty awesome, we learned several new things.

  • How to cast off.
  • A Lobster cast on (you had to have been there)
  • the Purl stitch
  • and a pattern of stitches that is called Ribb Stitch.

here is my finished dishcloth, its a little rough the edges.
this was my first castoff, Of course

Practice makes perfect right????

here is my scarf in progress
I will work on it this week
next week we make a bookmark
that stitch is called seed stitch

This is a far away picture of my in progress scarf

Today I am spending the day knitting and cleaning out the DVR.

I have tried to learn knitting and crocheting but I am just not patient enough. I ALWAYS drop stitches and it makes a mess. Several years ago I got into cross stitch. To this day I don't know how I had the patience to count all of those stitches!! But I have some pretty pieces that I am proud of.

Hope you have a great day.
